Depends if its pro or am, looking at 250-500 a scene. Some companies do it by the day, and it the glamour industry has fallen over the past few years for models do ing a lot more for less money

Make sure you take time to decide if youre happy for people to see it in years to come, some of hers has just made it to xhamster some 10 years after doing it, she has moved on but the videos dont !!

And on top of that, would you be able to have sex for a number of hours with a guy you might not be to attracted to, holding awkward positions, surrounded by a film crew and hot lights while faking enjoyment.

And most porn tends to be without a condom, yes everyone is tested regularly but nasties do get spread around porn actors every now and again regardless.

Men tend to earn less than females do.

If you are thinking that you can earn a nice wedge from being in porn today, you are wrong I'm afraid. The proliferation of free porn on the internet has all but decimated porn actors earnings (certainly in the USA), so much so that the thing making the most money generally (for the promoter - not necessarily the star(s) ) is live webcam - and then only after a period of time when you have built up a following - if you manage to build one...

Someone mentioned xhamster earlier - if you produce your own, you will end up spending most of your time policing sites like that to protect your copyright/investment.

If, on the other hand, you want to try it just for fun, you can always make your own, but you DO need a certain level of camera technique to make it look any good, and you may be disappointed with the initial results.

The earnings for actors are on a downward spiral unfortunately. As another poster has said earlier, about £250 per scene for women is about the going rate in the UK now. Compare that to what an old GF of mine earned in about 1983 for just three scenes over two movies - enough to buy her a BMW coupe for cash! You would never do that now..... More's the pity.....

Well I reckon around 200 quid for half a day to cover my studio and equipment costs. Depends whether you want to own the film at the end of it. Will cost you more if you want make up artists etc.

A friend of mine works with a producer in kent and talkin to him in the past he's always saaids it depends these days what the model will do! As there's always ppl tryin to make it these days producers can ask for things, dp, anal and if there not intersted they no next girl will be

very true, been like that for years now, we tried doing it a differant way, but its not what ppl want, so had to go down the same as other agency/producers do

i used to be in that particular industry so ill tell you what i know.

firstly it's hard to get into and your probably better starting your own site.

The problem is no a days you have sites like you porn and hundreds of amateur porn sites where people will do it for very little money and this is killing the pro-pornstar industry, i'd say it's days are numbered and amateur porn will probably take over.

if you do get in with an agency then your looking at 200-500 an hour, girls get paid more btw unless the guy is willing to do guy on guy.

if your a guy be prepared to be treated very much like a prop , it's not all fun and games it's very much like an office environment.

If your off camera you can get into trouble for swearing or smoking e.t.c you can say all the swear words you want on camera if it's part of the script however.

You not there to f*ck and have fun your there to work and do as your told by the director and crew.

an egotistical/cocky attitude will get you sacked quickly. You need to be polite and professional at all times.

Do remember most people usually see porn from one side of the camera, remember there is a whole film crew and studio crew that's going to be present.

you will need to be a regular at the gum clinic and get tested, you need to have great stamina ect.

pretty much about right, but the 200-500 per hour is well out, top end depending on what yoou do will get you maybe at a push 500 a day, but no where near an hour

i have done a porn film when i done my job they paid me was for over 3 hours work you dont pay them lol was something i have always wanted to do i am so pleased i done it and being a guster even better you guys for for it best of luck
