I can't send the text messages, says is failed or something so had to pay by card instead.

Every time I try to upgrade by text I have a problem, mobile operator is open to over 18 content. Recently tried to upgrade site took my money but no upgrade.

Check that you havn't got an age block on premium texts

Could be due to your mobile operator. I am with Plusnet and can't pay by text. As Plusnet don't support short code texting (sending MMS to a short number like you have to do to pay site supporter online).
