Has anyone stayed at la Mirage or Venus swingers Hotel in playa del ingles?

After this madness is finally finished we intend to make up for lost time. We want as much fun as possible on our holiday.

So does anybody recommend the above mentioned swingers Hotels or do you find you have more fun in a Vanilla hotel?

I have been to both Venus and La Mirage on a day pass and enjoyed both places.

We went to the old venus resort, a bit smaller than the new one. If the new one is as good it should be really busy with plenty of fun. If you go you must do the Bbq it was awesome at the last place.

It was a question of the pros and cons of both really. The swingers hotels are further away from the beach and bars but we're sure more fun to be had on site.

A lot of the vanilla Hotels now have naked terraces which will tempt swingers.

Location or opportunity for fun?

-Then you can search through the threads for advice, tips and opinions on GC and hotels, clubs, bars etc

Fun to be found at both if you want it. In our experience Venus is more play orientated. La Mirage is extremely relaxed during the day but fun can be had if you choose.

Slightly older age profile at La Mirage. Both just depends on who is there when you happen to go.

Travel anywhere seems to be €5 in a taxi wherever you go?!?

Arranging who to party with in the evenings is a good way to approach things, making contacts and finding out where the crowd is going in the evenings from the resorts...

We have had some very good nights with big groups going out for meals and partying together.

Both clothing optional with no expectations atall. We have never had any issues on resort.

Comeback bar and imagine bar are the places to meet before moving on of an evening. If you don't have anything arranged then go to one of those and they'll be full of like minded people.

We prefer La Mirage and comeback bar and Secrets or Fun4all for clubs.

Book early for either resort and I mean as early as you can because places go very very fast... at least when there isn't a pandemic on.

Sweet moments in the sandia centre is a great bar if you get it on the right night..mainly caters for german swingers but very friendly.

but whenever we have checked of the swingers resorts they've always been booked way in advance

In complete agreement with you on the clubs too,

we tended to start off in Imagine then to fun4all and sometimes ended up in secrets

Oh yeah. Naturist/lifestyle hotels in GC are booked sometimes 2 years in advance.

Just an update, Imagine Bar is now closed and will be opening up as Studio 69 in the Yumbo. Not too sure whereabouts in the Yumbo but I know Tonny and Saskia are working hard to get it all ready

PDI is certainly a place where you can meet swingers as it attracts a lot of them but we would recommend you go with the idea of having a good holiday and if you have some fun then that’s just a bonus.Its much easier to get meets if you want to actually play back home. The problem out there is alcohol and as a general rule alcohol and swinging don’t mix well. We were amazed at the amount people were drinking before going to the Swingers Clubs and there was little chance of the male of a couple being of any use at all . It usually was pre dinner drinks then drinks with dinner then pre Club drinks in one of the Swingers Bars then finally at midnight after 6 hours drinking its off to the Club ‘for some fun’ until 4am which also ends up ruining the next day . We suggested late afternoon or pre dinner fun to some people but it didn’t seem to be the PDI way of doing things.

We would have to agree with this on the whole. When I think back to how much we have actually played in pdi it's not that many for 4 or 5 years of holidays.

As you say drinking and playing generally don't mix well. We have played on the days in-between when we have played.

But omg we have had so much fun partying with like minded people for ten days. Play definitely is there if you want, it just tends to drift away from being the focus. Thinking about it it's probably why we have never had a bad night because all we look for is a great time... whatever that turns out to be.
