Hotlist... Lockdown good time to sort it out

A bit of guidance appreciated. My hot list (needs an edit!

I am presently messaging those I still haven't contacted. That is the easy bit.

No reply: I appreciate Fab etiquette says no reply, no interest but how long should I wait for a reply... a few days/weeks?

Unopened messages? If I don't get a prompt response, I tend to leave them about 3 weeks before moving on?

Finally I have had some favourable responses which have petered out, not wanting to be a nuisance I usually give up after a couple of unanswered messages...

All this is perhaps asking; 'how long is a piece of string'? Everybody will manage their 'desktop' differently. Any observations, beyond the obvious, 'get a life'! Thanks. A

I think this is just fab. Plenty of women get bombarded and so messages can get lost in the sea of offers they get. As for those who go cold, that's annoying, but unfortunately the reality. Plenty of people start up and then just ghost you.

Lastly, I think this disappointment is greater when they are on your hotlist, as obviously they appeal more than others do, and when someone doesn't think/feel the same, that's the rejection we feel.

In some ways it be great to know if you were on someone's hotlist, it would match people together and make the first contact gonsomewhat easier.

It's different times, our hotlist has grown during lockdown but we haven't contacted any of them due to not having a clue when it'll be safe to meet again, we tend to find that the more stretched out the time between first message and the meet takes the less likely it happens for one reason or another.

So we'll just wait and keep them in our hotlist for now.

Personal connection would be tricky but obviously there has to be an attraction. I do like the idea of personal connection but in a FOB sense, especially as I am not here to add notches to my bed post but for the mutual pleasure of good sex. This life style/Fab is the wrong place to seek romantic involvement.

I get that but I like the idea of having arranged a 'treat' as soon as we are set free, although I do have friends on here that assure me they are ready to rock so I won't go without!

I do mean in the sense of liking each other on a superficial level. Some people we chat to find we're not their cup of tea and that's ok by us . None of them as far as I'm aware are looking for a romantic entanglement.

Quite a few have found romance on fab though.

Personally I would message more than once or worry about those that haven't read or replied to a message. Life is too short to think about stuff like that. Put your best for forward and move on.

My hot list is mostly people I intend to message, most are waiting for an opportune time or status update for me to act. Although some are there just for perving at!

Honestly, I think most people can relate to fab fatigue, I'm growing so bored of the same chats that can't come to anything because of covid so even though some amazing fantastic people have messaged me over lockdown I just do not have the energy, motivation or even desire to begin talking to new people. Might be a factor op

I do get the lethargy that has crept over us during all this but doubt I will need the blue pill to get me going after such a long period of enforced celibacy, plus the inspiration of the rash of fit young women that pound around the city in those running leggings. Oh dear, I am revealingly my dirty old man persona!
