go to your local dogging spot and watch, see what goes on, and only go at your pace, and be careful, most spots are known by the police and the idiots

Central

You've got 2 choices really - use a know dogging spot, or use a virgin non-dogging spot, as someone mentioned.

If you use a known spot, try and check out beforehand what recent situations have been like - more trouble than usual etc, or generally ok.

The virgin spot has more potential for you to choose exactly where you want to have fun. Get the best spot for privacy, security, limited chance of others turning up etc.

If you meet at night, when dark, then you can be alerted by car lights ahead of time, so gives time to adjust etc, if it's the right spot, without too much street lighting nearby: most dogging spots are countryside, and there's not much lighting nearby anyway.

Arrange to meet people that you like, possibly who you've had fun with before, but could add a new dimension to it. If dogging to you is about new, the unknown, then I'd still advise chatting on the phone before meeting, so that you can be more certain of them. Get clear what the rules are, what's acceptable/isn't, so there's no uncertainty.

If you do choose the known spots, then as others say, there can be idiots who will drive with full lights on, not stopping put for more than a couple of mins, and it reduces chances for people to relax et. As with any meets, if you invite lots of people, it's probable that most won't turn up - so good prep is useful, and you'll manage things better.

Have fun and good luck!
