Hi does anyone else have to enter a new code when logging in, one where you have to enter the letters that you see?

I have been asked to do it since yesterday whereas my bf doesn't have to on a different device?

I know this is the wrong place to ask this but I tried in ' site help' and didn't get any replies.

It seems like a new security step but I have had trouble getting in despite carefully checking code before I press go!

There are many threads on it with many people asking why they suddenly had to, probably why no one replied to be honest but yes, others have to as well.
