When one uploads a pic and awaits the moderators to ‘approve’ pic, it seems to take forever. Once the pic is approved often times the pic ends up on page 2/3 of ‘New public pics’

If this is the same for every user, how is it there are pics on the 1st page? When did they upload, wait to be approved, get the approval and are 1st 2nd 3rd etc on page 1?

Cant say I’ve ever noticed tbh ... assume mods approve a batch all together x

If that was correct then however many in the batch would all get approved and end up on page 2/3 assuming it takes however long for the moderators to approve.

I guess I’m asking if those at the top of page 1 have been fast tracked in some way?

Is it not the order they were approved? I imagine there are photos being uploaded constantly, therefore those that were uploaded after yours and were approved would come on a higher page. I don't think it's in any way the same as the hotpix section. There are also more than one moderator checking so that would explain different timings etc.

I’m thinking in order for a pic to appear 1st/2nd and so on, on page 1 of ‘New public photos’, they’d have had to of had a speedy ‘approval’.

Ordinarily moderators take several mins to approve and then once they have been, the pic appears on page 2 or 3 somewhere.

Maybe it’s me
