I don't really get why this is such a huge issue? Imo being registered blind is enough justification for maybe not having the world's best spelling. I don't think OP should be attacked for something he can't help. "Don’t think this was attacking OP, just a question about spelling that’s all. I actually know a blind person who uses speech recognition software but one has to speak clearly into it. The blind person I know has been all over the world on holidays and her lack of sight has never affected her life and she worked as a Receptionist for a large organisation. | |||

Don’t think this was attacking OP, just a question about spelling that’s all. I actually know a blind person who uses speech recognition software but one has to speak clearly into it. A large majority of members here are males and consequently females and couples tend to get so many messages that it becomes hard to reply to them all. By posting here you have already attracted a response and made yourself known to quite a few people and that's probably a better way to strike up a few 'friendships'. It does take time though so you do have to be patient and just keep joining in with the forums and even the chatrooms. | |||

Things in the North East are bad, we are in tier 3 for a reason hence people aren't really meeting. 2. Although a profile is meant to tell the reader a little bit about you, I think yours is a little too much about you. "I like this, I want that". It also flags up quite a few potential obstacles to meeting. You don't need to go into to the details off public transport e.t.c. If you meet someone and you click then you will make it happen. 3. I don't know if you remember but we spoke a little bit last year. I remember the conversation was very much centred around and how difficult it is for you to meet people, and how you want to go to clubs, and how no one gives you a chance. A lot of women myself included find confidence quite he turn on, self depreciation really isn't a turn on. In fact, quite the opposite.
