I asked a profile a question who had already met up with about passing on my phone number but was so aniod that I didnt wait till heard there side of story. I now know that they didn't do it and have appolised to them. But having reported them am worried that they will be banned how do you clear up this mistake.

I'd send a message to admin explaining what's happened and hopefully they'll be able to log your retraction and all will be well.
