Great Missenden

Hi all

We have a non-swinging friend that Mr S has had a couple of meets with in the past - with full knowledge and permission of Mrs S we will add!

She lost her partner earlier this year to cancer and isn't ready yet to think about another relationship, but is in need of the occasional shag

Whilst Mr S is happy to provide this service, she really should get a bit of variety we think.

So does she setup on Bumble/Tinder etc or would she be better served joining a swingers site such as this?

Her concern is to avoid the cocky, cheating men and perhaps have a small number she can call on when needed. I (Mr S) suggested that a swingers site would be better as she can see from verifications how honest and respectful a guy is.

Alas, she doesn't think she is bi so is not really looking for couples at this stage.

So swingers site or dating site?

Woking-ish

Swingers site, assuming she is happy with the idea of swinging. No ongoing relationship by the sound of things is exactly what she is after. Providing security is taken care of....

Club Meets Only

I agree with the verification idea, you can at least see they aren't a serial murderer & can be somewhat trusted.

There are quite a few of the same faces on here & dating sites although I think you get a bit more honesty on here regards those who are in relationship already than you do on dating sites. Or so I've found anyway.

I am in her position I lost my partner 2 years ago to cancer too.

Like her I don't want a full on relationship, I'm just not ready for that yet.

Fab works for me as I can get the pleasure when I want it without commitment.

Sounds a bit shallow but as long as everyone is happy does that matter?

id stick with the swinger site , as previuosly said , least you can see verifications and for a no strings meet ideal, dating sites errr no not for no strings....and how do you know if they are genuine , or safe for that matter

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that on line dating or hook ups are no place for the recently bereaved.

I understand her need for sex and it seems that's being fulfilled. But there are chancers, manipulators and people just waiting to take advantage of the vulnerable on here and every other Internet platform.

I'm assuming of course that this would all be post covid regulations too

Who thinks she needs a bit of variety?

I agree with the majority here and would say coming on here would be safer (verifications)

I am in agreement with this reply. I am a widow myself and in the first year a person is very vunerable. Your friend could quite easily get into difficulties on Fab. Let her be the judge of whether she needs variety or not.

Thanks for this and I understand what you mean.

I’m on here and also on a dating site. In my opinion (and from what you’ve described) she’s not looking for a relationship, so Fabs would be more appropriate... as long as she’s careful.

Beyond the shadows.

I would suggest she should stay away from any of these sites and stick to Mr S for the time being.

I have to agree with this. While not exactly the same, I've been in a similar situation and the internet can be a scary place. I wouldn't recommend it.

St Austell

Or perhaps introduce her to some of the couples you've met, and maybe one or two more husbands might be able to 'help' in similar fashion to Mr S?
