So is there any way of local updates that come up on your feed been tailored to people who are looking for , ie the age and sex you are

As opposed to clicking on profile after profile to see I am either too old or they only want coupes etc

Yes I know there’s the search function but after prob 6 years on this site I’ve just realised about local updates

It’s like going to a sweet shop and not been allowed to buy anything lol

Happy fabbing folks

I think it only shows who matches with you eat a high level - i.e. Singles, couples within the age range you're looking for

You would think that and I use to to think that but other day most of the local updates , even if I wanted to contact them I could not ,

It’s certainly hit and miss!

We’ve clicked on local update profiles many times only to wonder how on earth they match our “account preferences” on any level!

St Austell

Mine keeps within the distance I have set in a 'saved search', but otherwise only uses some of the parameters set in my account preferences...

....so it sticks to age range and sex, but ignores everything else, such as whether they're looking for single males, can accommodate, etc...

I think the local updates thing is more of a social thing than a preference thing.
