hello everyone - i find myself not looking forward to a whole day (time) with nothing to do in Yeovil on the 11th of July. Any ideas of what I could get up to that isn't visiting a museum!

Go and visit my mum she makes great chip butties

I'm trying to think of somewhere to go but I'm stuck havnt lived there for so long. Could always try the nearest cider farm get d*unk on the freebies

Ah Cricket st Thomas spent many a day there both as a child and with my children , the air museum was like a second home my Dad worked there , the butterfly farm never been to know its on way to sherbourn and the cider farm well that would be my first visit now

the 11th of july is a wednesday - there is a club called Gems that opens wednesday afternoon not been there but know people who go there

Was there so often the kids used to sing that fekkin Cricket St Thomas near Chard advert..... it still haunts me now.

You`ve led a very sheltered life if you think Weymouth and Portland are great! Most Dorset people, myself included think that id Weymouth and Portland slipped quietly into the sea one night it wouldn`t be a bad thing! If you want to have a bit of fun, go around Portland and tell people what wonderfull creatures rabbitsd are! The Wallace and Gromitt film about the warerabbit had to be retitled before being shown in Portland! The best bits of Weymouth? The A354 northbound and trains in the "up" direction!

You not allowed to mention them critters on Portland !

I spent many a happy childhood day either on the beach or climbing the rocks at Portland and my kids when they were little loved going either place as well.
