If things have gone wrong here with your partner and they have stopped contact, would you wait before changing the profile text, case they get in touch with a reason why or just do it and move on?

Personally I’d delete your couples profile and start again.

Fresh start new direction

thank you I'll probably keep it as it won't be easy to take the pictures again, not that I look like the old ones now, I appreciate your advice

Why not hide the couples profile and make a new singles profile ?

That's what I did when my partner decided he didn't want to swing any more, in case he ever changed his mind. Seemed a shame to delete nearly 200 verifications and over 100 pics.

maybe not but when you go from messaging virtually all day everyday to silence and his photo has gone from his WhatsApp account. He was rebooting his phone, you don't lose your photo when you reboot.
