Anyone else noticed that the site is getting more and more fuller with time wasters, fake profiles, escort profiles and people not interested in ever meeting? You send a nice message explaining yourself and what you’re into and asking what they want if not on profile and instantly either get blocked or get told you need to pay for meets.

If they block you they're not wasting your time they're making it clear they don't want to meet.

Meant the ones that block you after a few messages as you want to arrange a meet, or you become suspicious they’ve either fake or men pretending to be women or in a couple profile and start asking questions and get blocked before you can report them.

On here a block is just a way of saying no thank you and maybe during a global pandemic most (hopefully) don’t want to meet.

And in answer to your question no I’ve not noticed any difference at all.

I've also noticed this. A lot of these timewasters either have generic profiles with no photos or give out links to OF or are working girls of some variety. I make a point of reporting the working girls but I seem to come across them more now than I did before. The problem is you can't really handle matters like this without confirming that they are/aren't real so guys just have to take the chance.

In the cases of the ones who block after a few messages I don't give them any more attention. I just find it bizarre that they decide to block after a decent exchange but hey ho. It's pointless getting into a tizzy over them.

You have been here 3 months. During a global pandemic. So not many looking to meet. I cant say ive noticed a rise in fake profiles but guess im lucky as havnt come across many in a few years. Also just as someone blocks or stops chatting dosnt mean they fake or wasting time.Maybe they just don't wanna chat anymore. Also no reply or blocking someone even if a first message is just a way of saying "no thanks"

people saying its just a waste of time, I think maybe there sucsesful men here would disagree.

It's unrealistic at the safest of times when meets are permitted without restrictions, to expect more than a small minority of people who message will have mutual compatibility. This means that chats will suddenly stop when 1 party realises that you're not right for then. Blocking is the simple way to stop further chats immediately or in the future, by mistake. It's standard.

1 thing that will highlight not being matched is another expecting a sexual meet during this epidemic.

People can only evaluate others by chatting. As they get more knowledgeable, they will find it easier to filter bad matches out. This is intelligent use of the service here, preventing time wasting meets but needs enough messaging first to be able to get rid of the unmatched users. Always expect this.

We may all misjudge the reasons for people to have decided against us. Be grateful for their accuracy and forget them as you move on to the next people.

Escorts may try to operate here. Report and ignore them.

Overall ensure that your experience are realistic and also don't expect that sex meets are what people want as amongst their priorities at the moment. We should not be using fab for this purpose now.

Stating you do not wish to be treated in hospital by those of us that put our necks on the line and run the risk of taking covid home to our families, because you want to meet.....it is as realistic as that.

Whilst there has been a few more profiles which haven't lasted more than a couple of days, or people who've "dipped their toes" in and thought better of it, I'd reckon that a lot of established profiles on here are playing it safe.

It all depends on who you are messaging; some people get dozens, even hundreds of messages a day and for them to wade through all those messages, gets tedious, which is why many approach messages get instantly deleted or blocked.

That last part goes with the territory on here; it's a Fact of FAB Life.

It can work in your favour but it all depends on how you style your approach and build from there; that is how I've done it, but with people who want to meet but are waiting till this whole crisis is over & we can safely meet up.

Noticed quite a few fakes, even had one Woman profile, (verified by meets and picture) add us on Instant messenger platforms; build a whole lie of a life, told us about their kids and family , and just kept asking for pics and videos.

Done a quick reverse image search and was a amateur pornstars pics in the US. They had about 5/6 fake profiles that they used to verify each other, some going back years! Caught them out red handed, turned out to be a guy behind it all, be careful!

Exactly. I get annoyed with single guys messaging me with the one line of "Hi how are you, want to meet". No face pic or any chat. Just thinking I will meet a random stranger at the stop of a hat.

Yes, that's not swinging, they can't seem to grasp the concept of socialising. It's not just single guys in my experience either.

theres lots of them on here,no picts with there is no way you cant put at least a body shot on know days.or differnt profile every week ,they put same wording in as well.not the sharpest tool in the box some of them

The word fake gets bandied about a lot on here. To me a fake profile is usually a guy who set's up a female/couples profile .

At the moment i block men after a few messages if its obvious they are looking to meet at the moment. During a global pandemic a lot of people have bigger priorities than sex with strangers and if that makes us fake tgen so be it

Not so much an increase in fake profiles - definitely an increase “wank chatters” and pic collectors. And perhaps fake couple profiles, or profiles where it was historically an actual couple but now appears just the Male partner (again normally looking for wank chat or pics).

We agree that “established” profiles are being sensible and not looking to have physical meets. That to us isn’t time wasting, that is being sensible.

Always been fakes/time wasters and comes with sites like these and we were branded fakes and so changed our name to contain "Fakes" and the reason we were classed as fakes ?? as the fem didn't want to have sex with some and was happy to have them as friends ? but nothing sexual and it is a minefield on here sometimes and way to many needy or people who think they joined up/paid so they are entitled to endless meets and sex ??

No more fakes than when I joined the site, issue currently and why I’m not meeting is the Covid.

You often see guys status complaining about the site and their lack of success, do they ever think that may put some off you ? I wouldn’t meet a guy who I suspect may only be messaging me as he’s desperate to get a meet with anyone and I’ll do

In some cases it’s luck, the right person at the right time and they get a meet, others unfortunately just unattractive not just looks but terrible written profiles and pictures displayed and a general bad attitude about them.

We all have issues on the site but time wasters and fakes are a very minor issue, in my opinion.
