Hi ladies, and gentlemen. What is everyone's favourite type of message to receive from somebody making first contact on here. Do you prefer introductions, chat up lines, fun flirty stuff? I'm still quite new to this so I'm never sure what type of message to send. Thanks for any advice in advance!

We haven't got a favourite. Just introduce yourself, we can look at your profile and decide if we want to reply positively or not. Whether we meet will depend on further messages not the introductory one. Mind you we only get five or six a week

There’s no magic answer. Every woman will have their own preferences, and these can change. There certainly isn’t a “write this for an instant reply” template My advice is to be yourself, be respectful, not be entitled, say what you’re looking or hoping for, tell them about yourself, show that you’ve read their profile and ask a few questions.

Most importantly, have something to say. It can be long or short, serious or silly, but please have something to say, other than you are horny and want to get your end away.

I think messages that are respectful, address us both, show that they've taken time to actually read our profile and consider whether they have similar interests, & that show a bit of intelligence & humour, are good.

One liners, "how Uz doing?" or similar, really don't inspire us to engage in conversation.

It's a shame the vast majority of single men don't bother to think our read profiles first. If they did we'd not be inundated with "Hi" accompanied by a disembodied dick pic.

What do they expect by way of a response? Are we supposed to reply,

"come over now for a shag you smooth talking devil"?

If that's what they're expecting, they must be VERY disappointed.

I haven't really got a clue on here. Lines which I would use on other apps get ignored here and I was expecting a lot of ladies to be looking for sexy chats and sexting (which I'm not into) but no not at all on fab. Infact I find women to be more open about sexual chats and initiate it more on other apps.
