Hey once lock down is over I’m looking to experience as much as possible.... so clubs are on my list.

What’s the most welcoming way a single male can enjoy this and not look out of place or desperate haha

Is this something you do alone , just turning up anytime? What kind of mind set should you be going in with ? If shy will people come and chat with you etc ? Is it best to stay over ? What nights / themes are best to start with ....

When the club reviews sections open have a good look on there. Every club is different. Then there are different nights - some welcome single men, some don't. Go with no expectations. If you are socialable and chat to people you may do ok. If you sit in the corner, expecting people to come to you then you will be disappointed. Be respectful, if you are chatting to a couple chat to both of them, don't wait for the fella to go to the toilet and pounce on the fem. Don't assume thst everyone is looking for a single guy. Don't be a wanking zombie, don't touch without asking and don't stare. It's creepy. Not good that all this needs to be said - cos yeh that is how some fellas behave. Ring the club up first and ask them what night is best for a single male, don't just turn up, especially if you have travelled as you maybe turned away.

My first club visit i was very nervous. I got there early and was the only one there!

But that was actually a good thing. The staff showed me around. Explained all the rules and got me a drink and kept me company until a couple arrived.

I stayed dressed in the bar area for a while but soon felt out of place to stripped off

Best advice I can give is just be friendly and chatty!

This pretty much sums it up for a single guy in a club

The main points are; ask the club which nights/events are single guys most welcome at, and be prepared to always make the first move

I also agree about waiting for the club reviews section to be reopened; reading reviews from other single guys will give you a feel for which clubs actually appreciate single guys

Keep and eye on the swing club discussion board, clubs advertise on there, when they’re have a newbie night. Those would be best for a club virgin, as you won’t be alone doing a first visit.

Clubs need as many new members as possible after this closedown, so I’m sure they’ll advertise a few
