Adhd is definitely a different condition and a different thing ... as someone that is both adhd and autistic .... Autism is a developmental problem whereas as far as I'm aware adhd is caused by your frontal cortex actually being under productive ... hence why u basically give people with adhd speed to help them focus as it stimulates the mind to a "normal" level where you function better | |||

" My initial post was correct, that it's frequently a comorbid condition but they have retained their distinct separation as conditions. ADHD isn't 1 unified condition, either. I have both ADHD and ASD. As pointed out, the neuro-ivergent threads bring us wonderful people together here | |||
