I have seen this term used a lot but not really sure what it means. Or is it one of those words that mean different things to different people?

To me/us, I'm free to play with other people as if I were single. We have a rule about honesty and transparency, but I can have sex with anyone else I want and hubby doesn't mind as long as I tell him. The term open marriage would apply to us (well me) too.

He also gets a kick out of it as he's attracted to sluts and loves sloppy seconds. So the dynamic works well as he enjoys me sleeping around and I get all the sex and social aspects.

I'm also going to start doing parties (after lockdown) and we might do the club thing together.

He doesn't play no. So I'm a hotwife really, more than it being a truly open marriage. However, I'd be ok with him playing at parties and clubs where I am present. He's happy with me going alone then listening to the details, seeing any videos or photos, and getting sloppy seconds.

Curious to hear what people who do hotwifing think about the husband playing.

I think by definition it is a lifestyle that centres on the wife's adventures and the voyeuristic enjoyment of them by the husband, the psychology behind this is quite fascinating. In its purest it's not quite the same as enjoying seeing your partner with others (isn't that a prerequisite of swinging!) esp. when both of you are enjoying the freedom of being with others - the dynamic of hotwifing is much more set. It's also distinct from cuckolding though there is quite a lot of overlap between the two.
