It seems counter productive for fab to have removed the option to publish verifications. People will and are still meeting and are still verifying each other and those that do so hold no shame in doing it so are are also happy to still verify each other. The problem is the rest of us when when chatting to or looking for potential play mates have no way of knowing what those recent verifications are for so can’t make a informed decision If they are someone we would want to meet when the lockdown ends and weather they would present a increased risk when lockdown is over.

Another problem which is more of a issue for us is that we have taken the lockdown seriously as I work in care as a key worker but we have received a veri from a Person we met a 8 months ago on our old profile to verify our new profile and it knows says verified by meet 21 hours ago this suggests We are actively meeting and this has caused a few rude messages and also caused us to be judged negatively for no fault of our own. Is this admin could possibly re visit ?

So we have verified by meet a returning couple that we previously met so not all of the verifications will be from meets conducted against site rules.

I have this same problem

Some very rude messages pointing out I’m meeting - no- my 2 recents are from old fab friends whom decided to join again and relayed the favour back - won’t lie I loved reading what they said ..... fab should read install option to post then folk can make their own minds up

Totally aware of that and we are not so entitled as to think they would , we have Been here before and had a profile for years so know how it works. Lots of people and I would say more in the last year are on here to pic collect and cam. If they have been on here for a long time and pre lock down but have only got cam verifications in all honesty that’s what they are after and are not likely to meet anyway and given that cam fun is not for us it would seem pointless in getting to who someone who is after Different things.

That’s my point so I don’t understand why displaying new meet verifications is blocked.

Sorry was half asleep when I posted and didn’t read it properly so yes we agree with you it could make you look like you/we have broken lockdown rules.

Depends...

They might have had an account before, so asked a previous meet before lockdown, if they could verify them.

One way of a verification is to cam in a Chatroom, if you have a laptop.

Hope that suggestion isn't offensive! I do try and help folk where I can!

Totally this for me too. Rejoined and have been verified by old meets. My veris all actually say that but of course no one can see that.

Clubs, parties, events, socials

Whilst the profile might be new, the people/person could have been active before the virus and just taken a break

I personally have a lot of real life friends that swing

Am I missing something here? If I actually get a cam meeting sorted can that couple verify me as being genuine even via webcam? I've been on here months without any luck and I'd hate to think my first virtual meeting would happen without me being verified!

Well you could discuss it with someone beforehand.

Not sure on the cam rules - if you have to show your face or not.

Think a mod could answer that!
