Personally for me it's not the "ratio" that's the important thing.... It's the compatability of those you choose to invite..

This weekend is leaving things a little too late I would have thought

Its a long bank holiday and most people would have had their party plans sorted weeks ago

If you know a huge amount of people you may be able to pull it together though
