Addyi is a non-hormonal, multifunctional serotonin agonist antagonist (MSAA).

Addyi corrects an imbalance of the neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) dopamine and norepinephrine (both responsible for sexual excitement), while decreasing levels of serotonin (which can lower sex drive), although the exact mechanism is not known, according to FDA.

Don't get caught up in all the specifics, however. The takeaway from all of this? Addyi works in the brain and many of it's side effects, like dizziness and drowsiness, are due to it's central nervous system action there, too.

The FDA stated that the Addyi package insert section shoud be updated to note that women should discontinue drinking alcohol at least two hours before taking Addyi at bedtime OR skip the Addyi dose that evening.

Women should not consume alcohol at least until the morning after taking Addyi at bedtime.

Why is this? Combining Addyi with alcohol may increase the risk of low blood pressure and fainting, which is problematic especially if you are driving, doing hazardous activities, or need clear thinking.

Sounds like great stuff to me..not

Lube is the equivalent to viagra.

Viagra doesn’t make someone more receptive to sex, it makes their hard on more reliable. If someone isn’t turned on at all and they take viagra, it doesn’t make them hard or horny.

I’d recommend your friend read the book Come As You Are by Emily Nagoski to understand more about how female pleasure and desire works xxx

I was told by a pharmacist that Sildenafil/Viagra was originally developed as a blood pressure reducing drug. It opens up the veins and arteries to increase blood flow. This resulted in easier erections as a side effect. So I would assume that increasing blood flow to women’s sexy bits would also be advantageous.

But I’m no expert.
