Copy and paste

I see quite a few profiles saying they don’t want messages that have been. But an initial message 9/10 times is going to be similar so is it really a problem?

Messages saying good evening when it is morning, that have someone else's name in them or talk to me like I am a couple are obviously copy and paste and I wouldn't reply.

I get that as it’s just lazy but an initial message saying that you’re interested and a brief description of what your looking for is always going to be the same?

A copy and paste message would most probably get deleted by alot of people. A first message should mention something about the bio that stood out to you then they will know you have atleast taken a bit of time to find out about them instead of sending a generic same message to 50 other people.

Or you could mention a particular picture you like on their profile

Doesn't bother us as long as they remember to change the pertinent details.

It's the content of profiles and following !messages that counts along with how a person looks that interests us

We rarely reply to a pasted message. In fact we recently had a message from a profile we would of replied to, but the message was pasted so didn't bother. If someone can't be bothered to write a unique message, why should we bother?

Shangri-la

The messages most likely to get a reply are the ones where its clear they've taken time to actually read my profile & make reference to it in some way.

A generic "nice profile/pics" won't get a reply. Messages that are obviously cut & paste also won't get a reply, if you can't be bothered reading my profile & sending me an individual message then why would I bother to respond?

I delete msgs that are just copy and pasted (especially if it’s a repeated msg which happens a lot lol) i personally would prefer someone to take the time to read my profile and send a genuine msg x

If they can't be bothered to send you a personalised text, can they actually be bothered to please you in bed the way that it both pleases each other?

I dont copy and paste but it is very difficult and time consuming to write many original humorous and bespoke messages...it helps a lot if someone has something interesting on their profile that stands out...

Otherwise it's an initial hello, and the subsequent messages really enable you to tell whether you click or not..

Pretty much every day I get copy and paste message. Today I got the same template one from the guy I received 4 weeks ago so I let him know that - he asked me if I was an elephant with a great memory - I said it says in my message history that he did.

Exactly the same 5 sentences word by word. I haven't replied to his first one so the second one was right above it and I could see it's the same one. Obviously sent to everyone else.

I sometimes follow up an unanswered unopened message but it's not identical..

I write relatively few messages and have a reasonable response rate..I love chatting...I wish this system was a bit faster ..

It smacks of laziness. It gives the impression you have not reads the profile.

When you send a message most people look at your profile first. How good your profile is not will decide if the message gets opened.
