The Carboot sale

My parents owned an antique shop in Leicestershire. In my early twenties i would go to car boot sales and help them by sourcing stock for their shop. Having grown up around antiques I had a keen eye, but it meant getting up very early and covering 3 or 4 car boots on a Sunday morning.

I would pace up and down the rows with intent so that I would be ahead of any other traders / dealers, this day was no different. I was on my last car boot of the morning when I was stopped dead in my tracks. I’d always fantasised about older women and always took the opportunity to talk to them whenever I could. The ladies stall was dominated by men’s clothing, I flicked through the railings and picked up a rugby shirt. “Everything’s 50p” the lady’s said. Why so cheap I asked? “They are my ex husbands and I don’t want them in the house, anything that doesn't sell today is going to the charity shop”

I couldn’t believe it, about 5.2” slim, blonde, naturally beautiful and best of all recently divorced. I had too play it cool, I placed the shirt back on the hanger and said il have a think about it and come back. As I walked away my heart was beating out of my chest and I had butterflies in my stomach! I new full well I HAD to go back
