I just been messaging a couple, exchanged couple dozen texts, I had to put my phone down for couple minutes and when I came back to it all the messages sent and received have vanished, even where someone ‘looks’ at your profile, they have vanished from there too?? Any ideas anyone?

Probably one of 2 reasons, they’ve left or blocked you. It happens

Thanks, but would that delete ALL messages received and sent?

They have left the site. A block would still leave the messages. When someone left the site the message were still there with UNLOS on the message up until last year i think.

As above they've left the site, all messages sent and received disappear when this happens
