She lay back, allowing the pleasure to roll over her, how on earth had she got here? His tongue circling around her clit was making her stockinged clad toes curl. Rewind three days and she was sitting in traffic, the stress of the morning still fresh and heavy along her shoulders. She was late for work no thanks to her husband, who had upped the stress by asking why he didn’t have an ironed work shirt, and for the countless time an argument had began. She loved him once, had two children, old enough to look after themselves now but still at home. The foundations of their relationship blown to bits years ago when he was caught in a lie and had admitted that he had taken part in extra marital sex with a woman from work, begging for forgiveness she agreed to continue for the sake of the kids, she hated herself for it as he hadn’t shown much remorse ever since. She wouldn’t go as far to say she hated him but the love she once had was gone. She looked into the mirror of her car, she looked good for 48, she had got rid of the weight she had put On through her marriage problems with a new found love of the gym, she felt better than she had done before, strong, healthy and loved herself more than she had done before. He hasn’t noticed the change in her, more evidence to her that he didn’t care anymore and only attempted sex when he’d been drinking, not that she wanted it with him. The traffic moved forward and she put her foot on the accelerator, she glanced in the mirror again. She was was brought back to reality with a thump as her car hit the car in front of her. She’d lost concentration for just a second, lamenting her shit marriage. She sat there shocked, breath heavy confused. Cars honking their horns behind her it all got too much for her, tears rolling down her face she sat in the middle of the road. The car door opened in the car in front, she braved herself for more shit from the bloke that stepped out of. She didn’t need this. She watched him step towards her car looking at the damage, he came to to her window and she looked at him her eye makeup smudged. Tears rolling down her face. “Are you ok” he shouted through the window, more concerned than angry, her shaking hand pressed the button to lower the window. “Hey are you ok” he said softer now the window was down. “I don’t know what happened she said, everything was moving..I ...I’m...I’m so sorry. The driver of the other car reassured her, “there’s hardly a scratch I’m more worried about you, are you ok. Why don’t you pull the car over to the side there and we can have a look” she felt like an idiot, it wasn’t just the car, her life, her unhappiness, it all cane to the forefront. She pulled the car over to the side of the road behind the car she had hit and turned the engine off, the traffic had started to move and she stood there thinking what her husband was going to say when she got home. She looked at the car in front it didn’t look to bad there was an obvious dent in the number, her car was worse off. “Are you sure you are ok, you look a bit shaken up” he asked. This was the first time she had really taken a look at him, he was tall, he was dressed smartly in a shirt and trousers and he definitely worked out, he’s shirt tight across his broad body. “ I think I’m just a bit shocked, rough morning, let me give you my insurance details” her words spilling from her mouth fast, “plus I’m really late for work, I need to get going”. “Hey hey slow down, you can’t drive anywhere like that you are shaking”. Jane looked down at her hands and they were indeed shaking, what was happening to her. “Why don’t you call your work, explain the situation and then I’ll take you over to that coffee place over there and get you a hot drink, calm it all down” she looked up, there was indeed a coffee shop there, it seemed like a good idea and after a quick call to her work to explain things she was told to go home. “I’m Del by the way, let’s get you a hot drink”. He sat her down and went and got her a tea with a couple of sugars in, sweeter than how she normally takes it but was told it was good for the shock. She sat drinking her tea looking at this handsome man that was being calm and attentive rather than ranting and raving and it put her at ease. He made small talk and reassured her that he didn’t need insurance details as the damage was minor but insisted she took his number in case her insurance company needed it. She found herself being drawn to him, maybe it was her mood and her current feelings but she found him sexy, it had been a long time since someone had actually been so caring and thoughtful towards her. They sat and chatted, discussed what they both did and had found that they had something in common with the love of the gym, he complimented her and said that it was obvious she took care of herself, a compliment? It made her stomach flutter. He had told her that he was single and she felt foolish when she told him about her situation and felt that she over shared, something she never normally does, but he took it well and was sympathetic and she felt flushed when he said “a woman like you should be appreciated” Jane felt excitement every time he complimented her or said something nice or just listened. She finally started to feel better after the crash and talking to him she’d almost forgotten it had happened lost in his smile and his eyes. Here she was sat with a gorgeous tall black man, receiving compliments from him and she had crashed into him, it was hard to explain but he made her feel sexy. When they finished their drinks Del walked Jane back to her car, and totally out of character she leaned in to kiss him on his cheek when he was saying goodbye. Again she felt like an idiot and embarrassed that she had done that “I’m so sorry, that was just a strange thing to do it’s just you have been so nice” she said apologetically. “Getting a kiss from a beautiful woman is nothing you need to apologise for” and he smiled. Jane felt tingles of excitement like she hadn’t in a long time. “You have my number if you need anything” he said as he walked back to his car and he waved as he drove off. Jane sat there stunned for a second, what was she feeling, she knew what it was, it was lust and attraction. Now off home to relax and prepare to tell her husband what had happened to her car. |
