So our postman is a nice guy..typical postie always in his shorts...but as a straight guy ive never thought anything of it.

Anyway doorbell went earlier and i see post uniforn through window as they walk by...but when i open door its a young thirtyish blond...stood there in postie uniform and holding a parcel....i sign for parcel and as my young kids are there too i dont even attempt to flirt i just say thanks and off she goes...well she fumbles with the electronic signing machine but i figure thats the machine and nothing else. Amd off she goes.

The kids kept me busy and i thought nothing more of it...until ten mins ago....when there was a tap at the door

I open it to see a stranger. Then i realise its not a stranger its the post lady from earlier...knee length black dress...her hair down now (not ponytailed under hat like earlier)...killer heels and a sweet smile

"Im sorry" she says.."i knocked rather than doorbell so as not to wake your kids but erm...i lost my phone and am retracing steps to see if i dropped it...ive not seen it on street and your the inly parcel i had so wondered if whrn i bent to pick up and pass parcel i dropped it or something..."

Suddenly she made her excuses and left....i spent the next 5 weeks worrying i misread the situation and scared her off...everyday it was back to the old postie....had i even imagined her?

Then one day kids are at school, im in joggers and t shirt lazing around having a play when knock at door....i open it and there she is...the postie...back in her uniform...big beeming smile

"No post today" she says "but jist wanted to say sorry for the other week...i found my phone and im ao sorry i interupted your evenig that time"

We make small talk and i offer her in for a cuppa..."im working sweetie she says" then glancing down and spotting id been playing (obvious by damp patch on joggers and still noticeable buldge) "amd erm you look busy" she said with a wink and knowing smile
