How annoying is it when people start stories and write them in small paragraphs. Then at the end of the post ask if people like it and want them to continue? Or is it just me?

When I’ve done that before it’s because I’ve not been sure it’s any good so want to know if anyone’s actually reading/enjoying it and therefore worth the effort of carrying on. But some have said that’s spoiled it for them, so it’s swings and roundabouts I suppose?

Can understand the want for feedback but makes reading the stories a bit long winded esp if there are loads of comments between each segment

I have to admit if a story is posted in short paragraphs I tend to loose interest in it. hate having to come back and check over and over again.

I think there should be a story page on its own.

Decent story’s get lost in mundane fantasies and pointless threads which fill up the page .

I like to write but also like to hear feedback too whether good or bad
