"So I posted this in the lounge with reasonable success Thought perhaps should post it in here and see how it goes. My real without question story happened in Evesham 1999 Was working on briars close in estate for those who know it! (Behind railway st) Used to frequent the local pub some dinner times ( the odd fellow arms) Got to know a few locals just to say hello too One was a couple elderly, he was in a walking frame, ex councillor so I found out. Always together she used to bring him in pub lunchtimes so he could chat to people he knew, she drove... Anywayjan 1999 back off Christmas had a particularly bad morning so thought I’d go and have a pint and sandwich, the older gent was sat on his own, where he normally sat with his wife, may I also add no walking frame either. He noticed me and raised his pint in a hello gesture, I thought it was a little strange as his wife wasn’t with him. So had my lunch and started back to work. Later in the afternoon, I spoke to my warehouse manager who was a regular in the odd fellow, I mentioned I saw him.. He looked at me and said “you couldn’t have, he died over Christmas, he later told me I did go quite pale, but I just think he was there to say goodbye to his friends! I never saw him again " Wow.... spooky!!

"Interesting... I don’t really believe in ghosts BUT When I was around 16 I went to school with this lad who has a very distinct face. All of his skin was burned off and scarred but he was otherwise fine. Towards the end of our school year he died in a car accident along with another lad I knew. Really bad death, they were both trapped in the back of a 3 door car as it plunged into a river. A few months later I was walking down the corridor, it was packed and someone bumped into me really hard - I looked at it was him! The scarred face guy. I mean 100% without a doubt I saw him and he was looking right into my eyes. It was only for a second, and I blinked and he was gone. Just merged into the crowd. Then a few months later I was walking home one night, and the second lad who died lives near my house. He had a big willow tree in his garden that hangs over the pavement, so you have to walk under it, and it’s pitch dark in there. So I was walking under it one night, about 11pm and it was silent - I heard a crack and looked and I saw the silhouette of him stood under the tree in his garden and I just legged it and didn’t look back. I know it’s all probably psychological but it creeped me out for years and still does now." Brilliant addition ThanQ
