Done loads of weddings, but still waiting for that really horny moment.

Would love a bridesmaid to take me to their room for some naughty fun or for me to take some hot pics.

Any other photographers hit the jackpot in this way?

I love sexy bride and bridesmaid pics. Love the natural ones of them getting ready and such. Find it very hot seeing a girl half naked knowing shes about to be a wife.

Only works if you are there for the rehearsals and events before hand to build that rapport and chemistry.

Tbh I take my job seriously - if I'm charging £1500 per event then I'm going to deliver my images and that means constant shooting.

Sex has to wait until the end after all the dust has settled

In London kitchen fitters charge more

As for "charging too much" it's a whole days shoot (morning till evening). Before the reception, during it, then a mini couples portrait session as well as individual ones. Then the cost of a second photographer. Compliling and editing about 2000+ pictures after the wedding is over. Then delivering them.

That's not counting the equipment cost of two professional lenses (£1000 each), two cameras, flash guns, light modifiers, stands, spare batteries for the camera and flash guns, spare memory cards, insurances. Just the top end photography equipment alone is more than £10,000 PER PHOTOGRAPHER.

I'm not some bloke running around with an iPhone or an SLR with the kit lens on full auto who has zero understanding of ISO, aperture and shutter speeds

Ditto, I use Canon equipment 5D and Canon lenses. My average wedding shoot consists of pretty much all that you mentioned plus an A3 landscape wedding album. Average price I charge is around £800, but I haven’t reviewed my prices for awhile to be honest, maybe time I did?

Tbh I'm charging 1500 because I'm arranging a second photographer and attending the rehearsals so it's more than a days job plus I give them the actual raw files (digital negatives) hence the higher price.

I get your point, but I have seen plenty of people's wedding photographs, that I'd have been very disappointed with, were they mine.In some cases, I think , or should I say know, I could have taken better, as a keen hobbyist photographer. It's no good owning expensive lenses, if you have no understanding of composure.

I cannot tell you the number of people I've bumped into that have the equipment and no understanding of how to use it.

I've had a few discussions with so called "pros" they are a joke shooting at high ISO rather than learning how to use flash photography (when available)

Have to disagree with you there. I never use flash when doing the 1st dance, it’s all about mood, lighting, coloured lights to enhance the atmosphere of the newlyweds taking their first dance together... as soon as that flash goes off it kills the colours, it may as well have been taken in a studio. Just my personal opinion.

I would use a slow shutter speed, around 3 wireless off camera flashes, about 800-1600 iso and something like f/5.6-8 and rear sync mode on for the shot

But tbh this is what I love about photography, everyone has their style of shooting and it's brilliant to share notes and ideas about it

Seriously get turned on by brides n bridesmaids think its the thought of wots under the dresses. If I was a photographer think I'd be tempted to tell them in private that they were model material and I'd love to do a private shoot.

I think the £1500 that he charges for weddings is pretty fair tbh

I did some a few years back and hated it, so now I just stick to running a studio and shooting there.

In my view, good wedding photographers are worth every penny if not more. I always pass on any wedding enquiries to 2-3 people I know who can produce results and let them have the job and the pain.

As for the fantasy element of the bridesmaids etc, I would never mix work and play

Filmed an engagement do back in the early 90's when it was still a novelty for someone to be using a camcorder.

Not like today; people are used to being in selfies and what not.

People used to act up when they had a camera pointed at them.

This one women flashed her arse, full on at the camera, no fucking knickers on at all!

I kept trying to freeze frame it when I played back but it was all juddery and shit.

And I STILL managed to knock one out over it!
