Sometimes the first step is admitting that actually it's more than feeling a bit sad and getting some help. Whether it's a gp visit, therapy and so on. Until you can do that, it's hard. But once you've taken that step it will be easier to starts addressing it. | |||

I was there sat on a ledge looking down at the ground below but luckily, I was safely pulled off the ledge by the police and taken home. When I was dumped by my first ex in 2006, I wanted to jump off the fire escape where I work but my work colleagues and duty managers at the time managed to talk me down. Those were the only times where I felt suicidal. Whenever I have moments of mini-depression, I avoid going down that road again as I've learned that nothing is worth killing myself over. | |||

I was there sat on a ledge looking down at the ground below but luckily, I was safely pulled off the ledge by the police and taken home. When I was dumped by my first ex in 2006, I wanted to jump off the fire escape where I work but my work colleagues and duty managers at the time managed to talk me down. Those were the only times where I felt suicidal. Whenever I have moments of mini-depression, I avoid going down that road again as I've learned that nothing is worth killing myself over.
