so a couple of weeks ago i did a job for a woman and got paid few days later she says a bit isn't quite right so i say when i get chance i'll come finish it, think nothing of it anyway this morning i went on whatsapp and to my horror she sent me a picture of the job in question (she had my phone number and thats all you need to add someone) and my username is accy9incher on that im well embarresed cuz i bet she must of seen my username on there and i done quite a lot of work for her and her family over the past few months how do i find out if she seen my username without telling her myusername?

I wasnt aware whatsapp had usernames unless your referring to your display name?

Nope whatsapp works purely off your mobile number there are no usernames involved.

So i think your safe unless she is the job ha.

click on a contact they have usernames or nicknames or something cant remember the term they use but it was deffo there i just changed mine in case another job gets it

If she has you saved as your name, it will come up as your name. It's not like kik. Mind at rest lol.

Ahh yes the display name.

To be fair im not sure what that is used for.

As on my whatsapp on contacts people are shown as whatever ive saved their number under.

thank god well name been changed now as number is out there in adverts i wonder how many people have put number into whatsapp and seen it omg lol

Whatever you have as your name on the settings is what she'll see when you send her a message. Otherwise it will be whatever she's saved you as in her phone. Easily solved by changing your name in settings

already did it just in case a customer sees it not very professional haha saying that she did seem a little friendly..... might get a bonus when i go back haha
