Megan read the text message that had beeped on her phone ‘Tom at work needs cheering up, his girlfriend has left him so I can't do tonight, I'll make it up to you I promise’. She sighed and rolled her eyes, the sender was her boyfriend of five years, Callum, she was waiting for him in the bar of a local hotel that had recently opened. They had arranged to stay over night, they had become distanced recently and Megan planned it in the hope that it'd bring them closer again.
She looked down at the glass of red that she'd already ordered and picked it up, her silver charm bracelet clinking against the glass, ‘may as well drink this and head up to the room’ she thought to herself. She was annoyed, but not surprised that he'd let her down again. She'd made a real effort, choosing a red lace dress, which hugged her curves particularly well. It had a plunge neckline which emphasised her cleavage and the red lace stood out against her pale, soft skin. Her light blonde hair was styled in soft loose curls which framed her face. Her legs looked long in her nude coloured, pointed toe heels.
As she was sipping her wine, a familiar face smiled at her from across the the room. He walked towards her and as he got closer she realised it was Kyle, they'd been best friends as children. There was no mistaking that warm friendly smile and his beautiful green twinkling eyes. They'd lived around the corner from each other for years, until Kyle had moved away. He had become a very attractive man, his face was gorgeous and she couldn't help noticing his muscular, defined torso under his tight white shirt. She'd got lost in her thoughts and realised that Kyle was speaking to her. She blushed ‘sorry, world of my own, what did you say?’. ‘Still dopey then? Come here’ he laughed as he brought her onto her feet for a hug. He wrapped his arms around her and butterflies fluttered in her stomach he smelt so good as she breathed in his cologne. ‘It's so good to see you Meg, I thought we’d lost contact forever’ Kyle said excitedly, interrupting her thoughts.
‘So how come you're all dressed up and on your own?’ Kyle asked, she blushed, ‘I.. I.. I've been stood up by my boyfriend’ she stuttered. ‘Right, that's it, you're stuck with me for the evening then’ he replied. She laughed nervously as she smoothed her hair down, she changed the subject ‘what are you doing here, Kyle?’. He told her that he had a meeting early in the morning and had decided it would be easier to book a room.
As the night progressed, they laughed and chatted over drinks, reminiscing about their childhood and gossiped about the others from their classes. It was as if they'd never been apart, they were so comfortable around each other. The evening had flown by, Megan checked the time on her phone ‘its 11.30 Kyle, I should let you go to get some sleep ready for your meeting in the morning’ she said gently. ‘Not at all, we'll finish our drinks and you can come to my room I'm not going to leave my best friend on her own when she's been stood up’ he replied with a warm smile.
They drank the last of their drinks and headed for the lift, Megan couldn't keep her eyes off him as they walked and she suddenly, she felt like a love struck teenager. They stepped into the lift, as the doors closed behind them she built up the courage to pull him in close and kiss him, slowly and deeply. Her hands ran down his torso as his hands brushed through her hair, then he broke away from her embrace. Kyle cupped her face in his hands looked deep into her eyes and asked ‘are you sure you want this Meg?’ ‘just shut up and kiss me’ she replied with a cheeky smile.
He did and pressed his body against hers, she felt a bulge grow in his black trousers as he ran his hands down her neck and over her bust he pushed his hands under her dress and bra and caressed her breasts just before the lift opened as they'd arrived on the twelfth floor. They both laughed he scooped her up in his big strong arms and carried her to the room, kissing her the whole time. |
