It is definitely a line no one wants to cross. Had a very good friend in Norwich in fact we free up together. Also had a girlfriend in Norwich so it was a lovely weekend for me anytime I went there.

My mate fancied my GF. And used the advantage of living local to her to start going out with her. He however phoned me to tell me and apologise. His explanation made sense at the time 'seeing as I was not very serious with her and he started having feelings for her, it just happened'

I forgave him and we all remained friends but something inside me must have felt wronged because I ended up fucking her twice behind his back.

she eventually told him after they got married and our friendship has never been the same again obviously.

They broke up after 3 years and are now divorced

Lost a very good friend there. We are still in contact with him by phone but

have not seen him in 7 years now.

I've never crossed that line but have met a mate's ex wife when they had divorced. I did tell him I was going to and he was fine with it...if he hadn't been I wouldn't have met her as the mate was more important (and still is) than any sexual encounter.
