I've just got home after the most incredible day and feel I should share it with you all.

This morning started very much like any other Friday, it's my day off so I was relaxing reading the morning paper when the phone rang 'Hi Paul, it's Audrey here, my sink is blocked and I was wondering if you were free to come and unblock it for me?'

Audrey is my ex mother in law, I have been divorced from her daughter for 10 years but very occasionally get asked to do the odd job around the house since her husband died 4 years ago.

Assuming she must be going out and not wanting to disturb her I return to the kitchen and wait for her to come through.
