I wish to offer my unreserved apology to anyone I may have offended, hurt or alarmed by a thread I posted yesterday entitled 'did I do the right thing'.

Although the story was fictitious,it was ill thought out, badly written and open to miss interpretation. It caused offence to a number of people and for that I am truly sorry.

I have worked hard to attain a good reputation and hope I haven't destroyed it in a moment of madness

I hope I will now be allowed to put this unfortunate incident behind me.

All I will say is that I had a bit to drink and foolishly tried to write a story. Sorry, but I'm not saying another word on the subject.
