OK, so to pay for the beers while at University I worked in a local pub. On the plus side it was very old school local so I didn't exactly have to stretch myself, but the downside was the clientele tended to be a little mundane!

One evening a band was on and this young girl was in with some older friends, on her round at the bar we exchanged the normal pleasantries about the band and how good they were (they were not!). But after ordering her drinks she hung around the bar some more, being the busy barman I was and the fact she was hot I just happened to make myself busy right where she was and we chatted away. Turned out she worked in the high-street at a kids toy shop, she hadn't been in here before but would probably start drinking here more often.

The evening continued and sadly I had to do some work and she left with her friends... I certainly hoped she would be back!

So a few days on a Sunday I have been out and about, but head back to the pub to revise for an exam (its where I was living at the time, I know... living the dream!) to find one of the regulars John waving at me frantically through the window.

I raced in ready for a fight as some of the locals could be a little excitable after a few sherbets... but was greeted by his beaming face and him exclaiming... "She fancies the fuck out of you!"

Sat in the corner with her friend in the hottie from the other night... awkward! Thanks John.

Have a pint with me... being a student I wasn't one to turn down a free drink so I accepted, after buying he then went and sat with the girls. John is about 70 but deep down still a 21 year old and now he has stitched me right up!

A bit of awkwardness follows but in the end we are all chatting away. It unfolds that she is not just a worker in the local kids shop, but casually drops in that she dances at FYEO (other establishments are available).

I can see from the look in her eye that she is pleased John shared what had clearly been a private conversation with her friend that he had opted to eves drop on. She was also taking every opportunity to inch round the booth towards me.

The minor detail at this time was the fact I had a gf, which was well known through the pub...

John then asked me if I was coming for a pint down the road in a different pub, jumping at the chance to escape what was slowly turning into a suicide type situation I again agreed to have another free beer with him! (hey I was a student!)

Le-Anne then stands up with us and says "good idea, lets go... my friend is just going home so I am at a loose end"

OK, I tried to be good...

In the next pub John gets the beers in and then swiftly says his goodbyes as he had spotted some other mates. With a wink he then leaves me and the hot stripper.
