I love Vinted, I have found a lot of local people who I know on there and I love buying their used clothing.
I have brought so much on Vinted but my favourite has got to be my gfs best mates (Meg) clothing.
I had searched for her name previously as I always had thoughts about her and wearing her clothes, but never came across her profile…i even searched the town we’re in, and local Vinted facebook groups… I just had to find her!
I gave up, I admitted defeat.
Few days later, I put our town in the search bar, and bingo! There she was, top of the list!
She didn’t really have much up, just some baby items.
I checked and then double check my profile to make sure the settings didn’t have any of my personal details.
I was so nervous, as I clicked follow.
Within the hour “Meg uploaded brown and white gingham style dress and brown ribbed boob tube dress”. I just had to have these! Within seconds they was in my bundle and paid for.
“Thanks for buying, I’ll get these posted tomorrow xx”
I replied but so scared that I haven’t hidden my details “Thank you so much, love the outfits. If you have any more I’d love to see them”
“I’m just going through my wardrobe now, I have more to upload once I have been through my other wardrobe tomorrow”
“Thank you, I’ll keep an eye out xx”
The next day I get a message “I’m uploading more now x”
“You must have a lot to get rid of, I want first dibs! 😜”
Notification: Megs uploaded AX Paris dress, brown ruched dress, and more”
“Let me know when your finished uploading and I’ll buy a bundle”
“All done”…
I made purchase.
“Just found two more x”…
I made purchase.
The following day I get another message
“Hey I’ve got loads more to go on today, if your wanting to buy loads you might have to do a couple of separate bundles because of the posting situation x”
“Perfect, can you spray the items with perfume before you bag them so that they don’t have the plastic bag smell when I receive them”
“Yes sure! X”
I was in heaven. I have literally brought her whole wardrobe! (Around 20 dresses in total).
It’s a shame I couldn’t reveal my identity and collect the items as she lives than a minutes walk from me.
I wondered if she would drop it to the same InPost locker I was using to collect.
Tracking the orders I could see it leaving my town and going to the local depot.
Couple of days later i got the text I had been waiting for.. “you InPost parcels are ready collect”
I drove to collect and immediately smelt her perfume through the bags 😍.
“Wow thank you for the clothes, they smell amazing, which perfume do you wear?”
“Thanks lovely, it’s lady million, hope you enjoy 😜x”
Little does she know, I will deffo be enjoying these clothes, and also get to see pics of her wearing some of them 😍.
I do wonder if she has any suspicions!
