I answered the door and it was my mum and dad’s friends from down the road , I shall call them Alec and Margaret. Alec was about 60 , 5ft 2 and was very small and wiry he looked a bit like a ferret. Margaret was about the same age, slightly taller, black hair, horn rim glasses , very plain and never smiled much. She looked a bit like Mary whitehouse ( for the oldies ) . Anyway Alec asks if my parents are in, I say no and he replies that’s ok as it’s you I want anyway. He says I hear you have a video, and was wondering if we could see it. I tell him that I don’t want to lend it out and he says I don’t have a player anyway but could we watch it on yours. I’m kind of in shock, what should I do!! I invite then in . Take them into the lounge, they both sit down marg in an armchair and Alec on the sofa. I get the video and put in in , the remote is on a cable which I take with me and sit next to alec |
