the Sweet Spot between Laughter and Mischief

Mate… I don’t know whether to recommend therapy, a cold shower, or a satnav recalibration because somewhere along the route your moral compass has taken a hard left into a hedge.

Having a crush is one thing. Announcing to the internet that your romantic GPS has locked onto your ex’s daughter is quite another. That’s not a confession, that’s a public service announcement that your judgement has gone on annual leave without telling you.

Let’s break this down sensibly. When most people split up with an ex, they move forward. New chapter. Fresh start. You, however, appear to have treated the family tree like a menu and thought, “I’ll just try the next branch down.” That’s not adventurous. That’s how soap operas start.

And imagine the strategy meeting in your head:

“This is fine. This is normal. I should absolutely post this online.”

That internal boardroom needs new management.

Even if everyone involved is an adult, there are certain social boundaries that exist for a reason. They’re not suggestions. They’re not optional extras. They’re the emotional equivalent of the big red button that says Do Not Press. And you didn’t just press it, you installed floodlights and invited an audience.

There’s a difference between attraction and acting like the star of a cautionary documentary. One is human. The other is the sort of decision that makes your future self wake up at 3am whispering, “Why… why did I do that?”

In short, just maybe don’t treat your ex’s family like a sequel series. Some stories don’t need a follow-up.

I'd have loved to have read this, your response is amazing so I'm guessing it was so morally wrong... lmao

The forum is calmed stories and fantasies. Don’t know why I’m getting such abuse for simple having a fantasy.

Unfortunately you removing your original post just encouraged the self appointed moral police that this site is famous for, as you rightly point out it is a story and fantasy section. Just let them act holier than thou. its their only outlet.

Oh there's plenty of people on here ready to point the finger.

Ignore them!
