So this happened a while ago in my last job. It's 100% true so I've changed names just in case.

I'm my last job I used to run a small pub in a quaint seaside village, being one of a handful of pubs you get to know the locals very well and see them week in week out.

Everything was going smoothly and after coming out of a long term relationship I thought this pub might be the perfect place to meet new people and have a little fun along the way.

Having met all of the locals I realised that my options where looking very slim until I met Bec. Now Bec wasn't my type at all. She was a large lady, 50, big boobs, huge arse and red hair. She was confident and out spoken and always found something to complain about. Her husband was a successful business man and they had plenty of money and didn't mind who knew it.

Everytime Bec and her husband came in my skin would crawl knowing I will have to defend myself and my pub or regulars when they start complaining.

One evening Bec had a little too much prosecco and her volume went up and up and the complaints started. This seat isn't comfy, it's too hot, it's too cold, the music is rubbish.

It had been a long day and I was trying to tidy up when she sat at the bar and pulled me loudly so everyone can hear. What you going to do about this music? She asked and I told her we have to keep the music to most people's taste and nobody else is complaining. Well I can't dance to this! This pub is rubbish I'm going elsewhere! She started shouting.

Thinking she was about to leave I turned to walk away but she just sat there complaining to the other customers. Now I'm a patient guy but she was really hitting a nerve until I snapped. I turned the music off completely and encouraged everyone to drink up and leave.

Bec sat there in shock like I've just punched a puppy. What have I done she asked, I gave her both barrels. You've sat there all night moaning and complaining about everything, I've had enough of your stuck up attitude and if you don't like my pub then don't come back! I snapped at her.

Realising what I had done I turned to her husband but he was too d*unk to care that I've just shouted at his wife. Bec started to cry and walked out. Finally I can close and go home. But no Bec stormed back in after the last customers left and just stood there looking at me with makeup running down her cheeks.

Can I just say something she said softly. Sure. Nobody has ever spoken to me the way you have,nobody ever dares to put me in my place. And she turned and left.

Several weeks passed with no sign of her which was a relief. Hopefully that's the end of her I thought. But I was very wrong.

Several weeks later Bec came to the pub and hugged me straight away, I stiffened up not expecting the embrace. She was like a different woman.

I clocked off and had a few drinks with some of the locals but I kept catching Bec looking at me from the corner of my eye.

As the night went on there was no complaints or moaning from Bec just the odd glance over. As the bar closed I helped tidy up and get the last customers out when I noticed Bec sat on her own. Everything ok? I asked. Yes I would just like to talk to you if I can she replied.

I poured another drink and sent the staff home and sat in the corner with Bec. We talked for ages, she told me how miserable her life is and how she hates her husband, he constantly puts her down and won't let her work but she has to be the perfect housewife because he brings the money in.

I soon realised that her being a bitch is all a big ploy to keep up her image. She was actually really sweet and we chatted and flirted for a good hour.

Oh crap is that the time! She said jumping up. He is going to kill me. And with that our lips met, like I said before Bec is not my type but in that moment something happened. We kissed softly and to my amazement it was electric. I could feel excitement in my pants as we embraced and snogged.

Bec pulled awar and ran out the door. I sat there in disbelief until a message came through on my phone from an unknown number. It read, hope you don't mind I got your number from one of your staff, thank you for tonight and sorry for kissing you please don't say anything it's our little secret.

What was going on? I didn't like this woman but getting to know her I felt something, I enjoyed the kiss. Then for the next couple of days we continued to message each other flirting and getting steamy. I couldn't get her out of my head
