I had a random job at 16 as an onsite taxi controller. I had to stand outside nightclubs in London with a radio and clipboard keeping track of all the drivers. I worked 9pm-5am 3-4 nights a week and was £10 an hour cash in hand. One of the first things I bought when I got paid was a navy suit. I'd never worn a suit before and was excited to go out. So I ventured to Blushi's in London Bridge.

That's where I got chatting to this woman at the bar. I'm Irish and so was she. Although I had initially told her that since moving to London I had started finding the Irish accent somewhat unattractive. I wasn't exactly Mr. Smooth back then. I have no idea if she had been married or with someone else as she was instant about coming to my place. Although I can't even remember her name she will always hold a special place in my heart as my first one night stand!
