Fed up with the humdrum, of work ,eat sleep repeat .

I wander the high street just looking in windows.

I see a travel agent across the road, and decide to take a look, some great deals.

Decided to book a solo trip . I’d have to deal with the consequences later.

I’m really excited about the whole thing.

I enter the shop, a floppy hat on a model I remove it , trying on my own head, see some dark glasses add them to the look and a long floaty dress and sandals . I take them all the fitting rooms try them, looking at my reflection. I want to enact a character, who buys long drinks with mint in them , in the sort of arty sparse cafe, that a person like her likes to frequent. Forget the people who know her sources or habits, limit of knowledge. Here she is at the tip of her iceberg, cool remote unfathomable.

Eventful flight . Don’t ask

I’m here now my home for the next 7 days. Crisp white linen and the softest towels .

I shower and freshen up. Then begin to explore my surroundings, heading toward the beach and checking out all beautiful little cafes and bars. A little taverna caught my eye with stunning views of the ocean. Perfect I thought. I sat at the table that had a panoramic view ordered my drink twiddled my straw through the ice cubes, wondering what the week in store. Headed back to the hotel to think of my next move .
