My girlfriend and I had moved into our new house some 6 weeks previously. A new build house-a blank canvas to make our own. The first thing we did was to have sex in every room obviously-who wouldn’t?!

A couple of weeks later and I had just finished a HIT class at my new gym. The reality of the expense of a new home had hit home and so I couldn’t afford my luxury gym anymore. This was the local council run one. It had most basic things just rougher around the edges. As I made my way to the changing rooms I made sure to do do the usual-head down, don’t look up. I was always paranoid about not making eye contact with any of the other guys. I grabbed my bag and came out of the changing rooms and headed towards the door. That week was non stop. There always seemed to be something to do in the house. Hanging pictures, painting, carpet fitting…the list was endless. Trying to do all that and work full time was exhausting. There was little time or energy for anything fun-including any be_room action. I kept telling myself it would all be worth it. A couple of days later and it was the week I had been dreading. We had booked in a building team for the house to help with the work-painters, tilers, plumbers and electricians.
