Julie had just been made redundant and hadn't been able to get another job for a while. I had a decent job but it wouldn't stretch to paying all the bills. A few weeks ago i was in the local and overheard two old guys talking about their art class and how hard it was to find a live model to draw/paint and that the ad in the paper hadn't had any replies. On my way back from the pub I called into the newsagents and bought the local paper, quickly going through I saw the ad. WANTED- LIVE ART MODEL TO POSE FOR PAINTING/DRAWING, £50 A SESSION RING 077X XXXXXX. I wonder in Julie could do this

So I dialed the number and an elderly gentleman answered, think it may have been one of the men at the pub. I asked what the 'live modelling' entailed as my wife may give it a go. He, Bill his name was, explained that it was mainly retired people, usually 8 of them, who draw as a hobby at a village hall. We could go the next evening just to take a look if we wanted. I thanked him and said we'd be their at 7.
