She reached the park it looked beautiful lined with trees and large grassy areas, she walked along the pathway, passed the kiddies play area where mums and dads were playing on the swings in front of their disinterested kids, she smiled, she liked this place for once in her life she felt happy and contented.

She carried on the pathway and reached a little stream.
She checked the grass and sat down.
The sun shining down on her back makimg her warm., she picked at the grass throwing long stems into the stream....heaven.
She thought back to Andy, a guilty feeling washed over her, even though he constantly cheated on her the thought of Keith and Vic made her feel slightly ashamed.
She had to leave him though for her own sanity.
She sat for what must of been an hour or so contemplating, she felt hungry.
She hadnt noticed a takeaway or cafe on her way here, maybe shed go back to the B+B see if she could grab a sandwich or even drive into town, second thoughts shed been drinking, maybe not a good idea she still be over the limit.
She got up brushed the dried grass from her dress and headed back.
She reached the front door, opened it and headed into the dining room.

Linda poured Vickis drink then poured herself a large gin she placed them on the bar

Linda wandered off to make Vickis supper.
After 15 mins or so Vicki could smell the hot oil and chips cooking making her feel even more famished.
She sipped her drink listening to the easy listening music coming out of the speakers in the dining area.
Randy Crawfird came over the speakers singing one day i'll fly away.
She listened to the words they seemed so apt.
