Not true each NHS Trust has a Uniform Policy. You can decided Dress or Tunic and Trousers. Most Staff will get allocated 2-3 Tunics and Trousers.

Lets face it, lots choose not to wear a dress especially in Specialised areas such as ICU as quite often CPR needs to be done, where Bed heights are dropped and a lot of bending over needs to be done.....Or when we all had to wear Full PPE so were in Scrubs anyway

Other non specialised areas are a lot more comfortable and some would feel more comfortable in a Dress

Years ago back in the days of 'Schools of Nursing' we didnt get a choice
