My best mate is a lesbian. However, before you get too excited, this isn’t that kind of story and she isn’t that kind of lesbian and there is nothing between me and her other than years of fun and laughter.

We met while we were at college and cemented our friendship through numerous afternoons in the pub, as you do. Through these sessions, I became acquainted with her own friends who were an equally good bunch.

One of them made an impression on her first day. Tracy was 18 or 19 at the time. She is about 5’2, a curvy size 12 brunette with green eyes. Pretty posh accent as well, she betrayed her upbringing when she was sat in the pub eyeing up the barman - reaching up under her top to make sure her nipples were hard so that she caught the barman’s eye…

I last saw her with my best mate at the bus station, stumbling around and laughing hysterically at each other’s efforts to walk straight…

Fast forward 20 years or so to New Years Eve, just gone. I found myself at a loose end so was invited to go to my best mates local pub to celebrate. Guess who I saw, but tracy - I had kept track of her via some light Facebook stalking but had only physically seen her two or three times over the years. She had aged very well indeed. Late 30’s and more defined curves, she remembered me as well so a good night loomed to see in the new year..
