Can anyone explain the Hugh volume of interest in these books?

I put it down to non-swingers who nolonger have any sex life or imagination!

Any thoughts?

I couldn't agree more, I started to read them wondering what all the hype was about and got a bit bored, found it quite tame. I have a very vanilla friend who has read all 3 books 9 times now, think It's just a little bit sad but it has worked wonders for her usually non existent sex life so guess it can't be that bad for those who have no idea what some people get up to!

That's kind of our point.

If you long for a rich varied sex life why not embrace the 'scene' rather than look at it as shocking. We've read better accounts of peoples experiences on here, and experienced our own! Lol

But don't you find all the fuss a bit much?

It seems to to be people without a sex life who really get into them
