Fantasy v Reality

Has anyone had a fantasy that they went on to indulge but the reality didn’t live up to the fantasy? Did that put you off and kill the fantasy outright, or did you attempt again with success thereafter?

Or maybe the other way round… the reality superseded the fantasy? Did it make you hungry for more?

Yes, I had a fantasy/urge to play out a kink I had at the time....sadly it did work out as I had hoped.
