Never used them myself but Mrs.J has kept hers in for hours.

As long as its not causing any internal cramping or pain you should be good to go for the duration until you decide you've had enough of being full

I used to use an e stim butt plug and would always insert it before I went shopping with the controller in my pocket, I would stand at the checkout with it on full blast, many times I would be squirming with the fantastic sensation and I would always have a full on erection. The plug would come out once I was home.
